The dash cam has a loop recording feature that automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full. To manually clear the memory, you can format the memory card:

1. Turn off the dash cam.

2. Remove the memory card from the dash cam.

3. Insert the memory card into a card reader connected to your computer.

4. On your computer, locate the memory card and right-click on it.

5. Select "Format" from the drop-down menu.

6. In the formatting window, select the appropriate file system (usually FAT32 for dash cams) and click "Start" to format the card.

7. Once the formatting is complete, safely eject the memory card from your computer.

8. Reinsert the formatted memory card into the dash cam.

Formatting the memory card will erase all data on it, so make sure to transfer any important footage to your computer before formatting. It's generally recommended to format the memory card once a month to keep it in good working condition and prevent any recording issues.
